Few weeks ago I met an Indian manager, Rajiv Sulekh, who told me a lot about the Indian dream and desire. I was working on a recruiting campaign for an insurance company. So in the following discussion about the Indian way of life, he pointed me to the career of the CEO of PepsiCo.
During the 2014 Aspen Ideas Festival Monday PepsiCo CEO Indra K. Nooyi told the audience how she manages work-life balance and why she believes women can’t really have it all. While I listen to this lady talking about “mommy guilt”, I wonder if men also feel “father guilty”.
In the 2nd part of the interview Noovi talked about the transformation of PepsiCo:
“The only way you run a company for the duration of the company and not the CEO is to invest responsibly in transformation when the world demands a transformation“, Nooyi declared.
This woman is clearly a superstar in the world of business. Perhaps even a role model for someone. Maybe.
