India is the land of incredibly large numbers. India has more hungry people than the whole of Africa and it is home – reported as today – of half of all slaves in the world. On the other hand, India is the home of 17% of the world population. And thus it is also home to 17% of human intelligence and 17% of the hopes of the world.
